ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot developed by OpenAI based on the company’s Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) series of large language models (LLMs). ChatGPT is built upon OpenAI’s foundational GPT models, specifically GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, and has been fine-tuned for conversational applications using a combination of supervised and reinforcement learning techniques.

The company has informed that this app will soon be available for Android users all over the world.

Also, the voice input feature can be used on ChatGPT’s website using various Chrome extensions. However, when used in this way, this feature does not seem so practical. ChatGPT’s app is superior to the website in this regard.

The facility to choose the appropriate language for speech

Voice input is not a feature that is suitable for AI competition. Therefore, the company has further modified it. You can not only interact with ChatGPT but also choose the language that suits you best. 35 languages are included in ChatGPT’s iOS app for voice input. If the language you use is not on the list, the company promises to provide that language soon.

Haptic feedback

Haptic feedback is a feature that interacts with the user using touch. The app uses different patterns of vibration to provide touch-based feedback to the user. This feature is available in most games. 
 
For iPhone users, this feature has made it easier to interact. Important notifications and alerts can be managed through the haptic feedback feature. However, it may not be convenient for the user when the vibration is happening every time. If you don’t like it, you can turn off this feature. 
 
This accessibility feature is said to be suitable for people with low vision or hearing loss. Similarly, this feature has made the user somewhat comfortable by providing reliable prompts. 

Access to chat history even when offline

Internet is mandatory to use ChatGPT through website or app. However, to view the chat history in the browser, you must be connected to the Internet. ChatGPT’s iOS app provides a feature where users can view chat history even when they are offline.

Fast response

ChatGPT is responding slowly when using it through a website. In some cases, due to heavy traffic, we do not even get answers to our questions. However, in comparison, the company has given special priority to app users. Users can get answers faster through the app than using the website. Similarly, Open AI has also given more priority to the users who have taken Plus subscription of ChatGPT.

Since this app is not available in all countries so far, it is not possible to mention what kind of response it has received. Users have said that ChatGPT’s app is more sophisticated and easy to use. The company has not yet revealed anything about when the ChatGPT app will be released in various other countries including Nepal. However, after the iOS app is available in all regions, the company is expected to bring an Android app.
